Hello!

I’m Brynn, and I’m so happy to welcome you to Wildflower Health Coaching!

I am a Registered Nurse and an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and I want to share a bit about how mindfulness concerning my health empowered me to change my life.

At the age of 26, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After my treatments were finished, life felt different. I felt tired, sluggish, and mentally a bit cloudy. I thought that this must be my new normal and how I’ll continue to live my life. Then - my husband called me out, telling me that I seem depressed.

After a brief denial and anger stage (I’m fine, it’s fine), I decided to do something about it. I did want to get back to my own body and to be active and well again!

Recognizing that our food is our medicine in itself and that holistic wellness largely depends on how we nourish our bodies, I completely changed how I was eating. The way that I began to feel in my body was incredible! Integrating mindfulness into this healthy lifestyle literally changed who I am, renewing me from a cancer survivor to a Cancer Thriver!

With Wildflower Health Coaching, my goal is to help others in similar situations get back to their body. Whatever brought you to here, perhaps...

Just because you have had cancer, you are no less of a bad-ass or perhaps…

Just because you have experienced years of struggling in an unsustainable, unhealthy lifestyle, you are no less of a bad-ass.

I can help you get back to the body and the life that you love!

Whatever your reason for deciding that you are ready to nurture your body and get back to physically and mentally healthy, I am here to encourage and assist you. I am here to provide you with support, with community, and to empower you to get back to your true outgoing self that you once were.

Unlike some other health coaching companies or healthy lifestyle programs, I am only one person. One REAL person. I am here to answer your questions and have real conversations with you. I understand that hard limitations don’t work. I understand that we all make mistakes. Instead of expecting immediate change and perfection, we will work together to co-create a flexible plan that encourages you to learn to love your new healthier lifestyle

There is a huge difference between a ‘diet’ and a lifestyle change, and I am not offering a prescriptive quick fix. This is a real challenge, but one that you’ll find makes a Real Difference.

The programs that I offer will motivate you to put in the work required to make better choices for yourself. I will help you to create a successful plan and hold you accountable for sticking with it.

I am right here with you the whole way! I am by your side and at the other end of the phone. I will celebrate your victories and highlight your wins.

I have lived in the Asheville, North Carolina area since 2006. I love time in nature, yoga, meditation, reading books of all kinds, numbers, and family movie night.

Let’s do this!

My training

I received my Health Coach training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods.

With my knowledge, we will co-create completely personalized actions based on your goals to move you toward your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, preferences and resources.

I have a Masters of Science in Accounting. My first career was in public accounting. Numbers and data come naturally to me however I realized quickly I enjoyed working with people more. After my cancer diagnosis I applied to nursing school and the end of tax season was in sight and I have never looked back.

I earned my Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Western Carolina University. My experience as a nurse has been varied from caring for medical-surgical patients to women’s health to gastroenterology and beyond. My nursing background helps me have a better understanding of your body and its needs.

This is me in the Gorges du Verdon in France, the day after I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Yep, I was on vacation when I learned of my diagnosis. It was 2 days after Christmas.

I knew life would never be the same but I wasn’t sure what that would look like. I had to make sense of what was happening. This is where my health journey began, where I took control of what I could. It wasn’t easy, it was the biggest challenge of my life.

you don’t have to do this on your own, i am here for you
